On Wednesday 5th October, Woking Means Business graced the HG Wells building for another year, along with new and regular businesses located in Surrey. An event that attracted a huge number of people (nearing 500), meant the day was a total success. An initial breakfast, held in our illustrious Kemp room, allowed the networking of local business to begin alongside the wealth of Danishes and Croissants, a welcome addition to the meeting. As well as this, an update given by the council about businesses in Woking was delivered, before the excitement of the exhibition located in our Wells room commenced.

With close to 500 guests, the Wells room was a fitting location for local businesses to put themselves on the market, gain invaluable experience and create new contacts within the business sector. A community affair, set in the heart of Woking meant a great atmosphere for all who attended. To conclude the day, a drinks reception allowed for further conversations and a final appreciation of the Businesses in Woking. After another successful year we look forward to the next!
