
H.G. Wells Conference and Events Centre is ideal for large weddings that take place within the various sections of the Asian community from across the regions of Surrey, Berkshire, Middlesex, Hampshire and Outer London.
With the largest purpose-built event space in Woking, H.G. Wells Conference and Events Centre is the perfect venue for the larger wedding.
We are only too happy to work with all of the Asian communities, Temples and Mosques from across the region, with strong relationships with local Asian groups, socities and associations.
We would be delighted to work with you and your family to make your special day as memorable as we can and an occasion that your family and friends will speak about for years to come.
The Asian Wedding Package
- From £2,300.00 + vat includes exclusive use of the Wells Room for 8 hours. Additional hours will be charged.
- Use of our Kitchen facilities for preparation of food, separate washing-up area.
- The Wells Room will be set out as you require with tables, chairs and table cloths. Additional paper coloured slips and napkins can be provided at an additional cost
- All crockery, cutlery and glassware will be prepared and handed to you upon your arrival by the Duty Manager. This must be retuerned to the duty manager in the same state of cleanliness at the end of the event. If we have to clean or replace items, a charge will be made and deducted from your deposit. All other dining equipment that may be required should be provided by your caterer.
- At H.G. Wells we have a wide variety of Visual packages available, including audio-visual equipment, lighting and star cloths as well as many other options (the in-house technician must be present at the time of use). Only basic ceiling lighting (not event lighting) is included in the package. Lighting hire from £200.00 + vat per day.
- Our large and adaptable stage area is included within the price.
- A changing room for the bride can be made available on the second floor (subject to availability and authorisation from the Duty Manager)
- A prayer room will be made available for the wedding party

The use if our equipment is by pre-arrangement only. All equipment to be operated by fully trained staff only. Winterhalter dishwasher to be thoroughly cleaned after use (deposit required)
A Kitchen Porter will be included in the price for the Venue hire, the allocated Kitchen Porter will be present in the Kitchen at all times.
Your caterer will supply all of the Kitchen and waiting staff, with the exception of a Kitchen porter which will be provided by the Venue.
Please note: All kitchen areas, washing up and “back of house” areas are to be left clean at the end of the function. To ensure this a refundable deposit of £500.00 will be required at the time of the booking. The Duty manager will inspect the areas and if they are in a satisfactory condition, your deposit will be refunded. A check in and out system is in operation to note any damage upon arrival and at departure of the venue.
