H.G. Wells was privileged to host this year’s Surrey Digital Awards on Thursday 10th March. The night was a celebration of innovation and progressive thinking for business. The event recognised individuals, charites events and establishments that went the extra mile to use digital media as a means to achieve greater things for their business.

With 16 categories in total ranging from ‘Use of Social Media in Business’ to ‘Websites’ and ‘Digital Innovation’ the evening was jam packed with business ideas, enthusiasm and well deserved nominees and winners. The whole evening was set against the backdrop of the impressive Wells Suite where each and every guest could easily watch the awards from one of 6 impressive screens. With professional lighting, AV and compares the evening took on an Oscar like fee,l ensuring that every person at the event felt like they were victors. Pairing the look and feel of the event with chefs delicious Supreme of Chicken Dijonnaise and homemade Chocolate Truffle Torte and it’s no wonder guests did not want to leave!

In addition to the great business and nominees, fantastic categories and wonderful venue the evening was completed with some amazing speakers including Rob Bloom the Group Head of Digital & Social Media at Woking’s very own McLaren F1.

Other special guests included Cllr Linda Kemeny, from the headline sponsor Surrey County Council, Chief Executive of Surrey Chambers of Commerce, Louise Punter, Editor of the Surrey Mirror, Dee Blaylock, and Conrad Murray from associate sponsor Nero Blanco IT.
