If you are looking for a venue that can host a large breakfast meeting, then look no further than H G Wells Conference & Events Centre.

The following example is just one of the many types of breakfast events we can cater for:

Surrey Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with Woking Borough Council, held their GDPR Breakfast for 160 people, on Thursday 22nd February in the Wells Room, which has a stage for the presenters and 20 tables where the delegates sat for breakfast. There was plenty of space for them to mingle and network both before, and after, the presentation.

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) aims primarily to give control back to citizens and residents over their personal data and to simplify the regulatory environment for international business.  Companies that collect data on citizens in European Union countries will need to comply with strict new rules around protecting customer data by May 25th. This regulation is very important as it effects the way we all currently market ourselves to clients and prospects clients but what does it all mean?! This meeting was to inform local businesses about the do’s and don’ts’s of marketing once the GDPR legislation comes into play, on May 25th 2018.

The conference organisers were given early access to set up their presentation, after our events team had previously organised the room "cabaret style" the evening before. Each table place setting included conference stationery, water and most importantly… sweets!

Our dedicated registration desk was used for delegates to sign in before they moved through to the Wells Room to mingle and network before breakfast. We offered two drinks stations serving freshly brewed tea and coffee as well as chilled orange juice from which the delegates could help themselves to.

A buffet style, self service, "Full English" breakfast was available from 8.30am.  Breakfast, freshly prepared on site by our talented chefs, included bacon, fried eggs, sausages, grilled mushrooms and tomatoes, baked beans and hash browns, toast and a variety of preserves.

At H G Wells we are happy to offer gluten free and vegetarian choices when requested in advance. Given notice we can create personalised individual meals for those with specific dietary needs.

A full and comprehensive audio visual set up was available in the Wells room for use during the presentations, and the Q&A session that followed breakfast. Our in house technician was on hand to assist with any technical issues and ensure the presentations ran smoothly.

The meeting concluded at 9.30am. The organisers told us they were delighted with the venue facilities, food and service and would use us again.
