Article: South Western Railways

One of our many satisfied clients who book with us time and time again are South Western Railways.  They have booked an extended series of Customer Experience Training events here and we have been delighted to welcome them several days every week throughout the year.

The meeting format works well and has remained the same for all their bookings.  Generally seventeen delegates attend each training day.  Tea, coffee and biscuits are served on their arrival.  They have the chance to meet and chat to colleagues in the relaxed a stylish atmosphere of the Griffin Room before moving to our Ogilvy Room on the second floor where the training is held.  There is a lift for anyone with mobility issues, and access via the back of the room to avoid a couple of steps into the room itself.

The Ogilvy Room can cater for up to 60 people and is ideal for training seminars, presentations or meetings.   So with South Western Railways’ small group there is ample room to spread out, or to work in breakout groups.

The Ogilvy Room has plenty of natural daylight but has the option to black out for AV presentations.  It is equipped with a PA system, screen, internet access and telephone.   Included in their package are flipcharts and pens, a laptop and projector & screen.    The Trainer also has use of the Elphinstone room to use as an office.

A finger buffet lunch is served in the Griffin Room, and our menus are designed to offer a wide range of choice with meat, fish, and vegetable and dessert items to choose from.  Dietary requirements such as vegetarian and gluten free are always catered for within the selection made.   And all food is freshly prepared on the day and is set out in the Griffin room for them to enjoy when they break at 12:30.  

At H G Wells we take food allergies very seriously and all items are clearly labelled with all allergens included.  Precautions are made to ensure that food items do not come into contact with listed allergens.  Should a delegate have any food intolerance or allergies they can ask a member of the H.G. Wells Operations Team who are always on hand to offer advice.
