Set right in the heart of Woking, H.G. Wells Conference & Events Centre hosts a wide range of dinners and dinner dances – charity fundraisers, boxing evenings, civic receptions, family celebrations…

Formal or informal; live music, background music or DJ; corporate or private, anything is possible and room hire is strictly for your exclusive use. You will find the venue beautifully furnished and lit, the food of the highest quality and the level of service second to none. We can cater for any numbers between 70 and 250 for a sit-down dinner and all food is prepared in-house.

Our talented chefs offer a delicious range of meat, fish, vegetarian and vegan options to suit all tastes and dietary requirements. Wherever possible, we use locally sourced, seasonal produce from carefully selected suppliers. If you have any special requests, just talk to your Event Manager.

Convenient location
H.G. Wells Conference & Events Centre is located in the centre of Woking. We are a short stroll from Woking train station and just 26 minutes by train from London. Covered parking and accommodation are also available for your guests, just a couple of minutes’ walk away.

Room options
Griffin Room – pre-dinner drinks and/or sit down dinner for up to 70
Wells Room – sit down dinner for up to 250
Kemp Room – sit down dinner for up to 120

The Wells Room has four screens, ideal for video projection and all rooms can be themed and decorated to your particular needs.
Please note, our rooms are for exclusive use only and minimum numbers apply.
