H.G. Wells Conference & Events Centre is a contemporary, purpose-built meetings and events space in the heart of Woking, Surrey. We offer flexible spaces for training sessions, client meetings, team building, board meetings, workshops and interviewing… for anywhere between 8 and 96 delegates.

We have over 25 years experience in managing meetings and conferences, and to ensure everything goes smoothly on the day, you will be assigned a dedicated Event Manager.

Our venue has a comprehensive, state-of-the-art AV provision, with all meeting rooms equipped for presentations with either projectors or LED screens, complimentary Wi-Fi, flipcharts and stationery.

Convenient location
H.G. Wells Conference & Events Centre is located in the centre of Woking. We are a short stroll from Woking train station and just 26 minutes by train from London. Accommodation and covered parking are also available for delegates, just a couple of minutes walk away.

Room options
Kemp Room – up to 96 (usual layout, 12 tables of 8)
Ogilvy Room – boardroom for 26 or 25 cabaret-style, with natural daylight and Flavia coffee machine
Elphinstone Room – boardroom for 10, with natural daylight and Flavia coffee machine
Henderson Room – boardroom for 8 with natural daylight
Griffin Room – ideal for welcome drinks, refreshments and buffet lunches
Additional rooms can be booked along with the main meeting room as breakout spaces.

Catering for your meeting
A range of refreshments are available including breakfasts (Danish pastries, fruit and bacon rolls), sandwiches, buffet lunches and afternoon teas. Should you wish, our in-house catering team would be delighted to design a bespoke menu for you and all dietary requirements can be catered for. Please ask your Event Manager about Day Delegate Packages.

Refreshments and working lunches can be served either in your main meeting room or in the Griffin Room (depending on availability). Bars are located in the Wells, Griffin and Kemp Rooms, these can be organised on a cash or account basis.
