Right in the heart of Woking, H.G. Wells Conference & Events Centre is a contemporary, purpose-built venue that is ideal for all kinds of training sessions, for anywhere between 2 and 800 delegates.
With a choice of versatile, flexible spaces; state-of-the-art AV facilities; in-house catering and complimentary Wi-Fi, H.G. Wells Conference & Events Centre is perfect for training sessions. We have over 25 years experience in managing training, meetings and other corporate events. To ensure everything goes smoothly on the day, you will be assigned a dedicated Event Manager to help with all your requirements, including audio visual equipment, catering, lighting and venue access.
H.G. Wells Conference & Events Centre is located in the centre of Woking. We are a short stroll from Woking train station and just 26 minutes by train from London. Parking and accommodation is also available for delegates just a couple of minutes walk away.
Wells Room – a large open space suitable for desk based training or training with physical, interactive activities
Kemp Room – up to 96 (usual layout, 12 tables of 8)
Ogilvy Room – boardroom for 26 or 25 cabaret style, with natural daylight and Flavia coffee machine
Elphinstone Room – boardroom for 10, with natural daylight and Flavia coffee machine
Henderson Room – boardroom for 8 with natural daylight
Griffin Room – ideal for welcome drinks, refreshments and buffet lunches
Additional rooms can be booked along with the main training room as breakout spaces.

Catering for your training session
A range of refreshments are available including breakfasts (Danish pastries, fruit and bacon, sausage and egg rolls), sandwiches, buffet lunches and afternoon teas. Should you wish, our in-house catering team would be delighted to design a bespoke menu for you and all dietary requirements can be catered for. Please ask your Event Manager about Day Delegate Packages.
Bars are located in the Wells, Griffin and Kemp Rooms, these can be organised on a cash or account basis.
